Great Halloween Games For Kids
Capture The Glow Stick-Played just like Capture the Flag, but a glow stick in plastic pumpkin is substituted for the flag.
Ghost Bowling-Take 2-Liter Plastic Soda Bottles and use paint to decorate them as ghosts, Jack-o-Lanterns, zombies, etc… Then fill the soda bottles about a third of the way up with some sand. Use a kick ball or smaller ball as bowling ball. Have kids stand behind a set line and roll the ball to knock over the soda bottle pins.
Ghost Sack Races-And speaking of out of this world things, take ordinary Burlap Potato Sacks and transform into friendly ghosts with some Tempera Paint.
Guess The Number of Candy Corns-Count out candy corns as you place them in a clear container such as a jar. Have the kids guess the number of candy corns in the jar. Closest guess wins a special prize.
Halloween Bean Bag Toss-Kiddos and adults will have fun aiming for the pumpkins’ mouths and racking up the points. This kit includes the game banner and bean bags.
Halloween Bingo-You may have them saying G-H-O-S-T rather than B-I-N-G-O with these (4×4 & 5×5) game boards.
Halloween Charades-Let the kiddos have fun acting out a bunch of spooky creatures and activities. Friends and family guess who or what they are.
Examples of charade topics include “Walk like a Zombie”, “Pretend Your in a Haunted House”, “Be a Friendly Ghost”, “Pick A Pumpkin Out of a Pumpkin Patch”, and “Pretend Your Lost in a Corn Maze”. Also, try “Being a Scarecrow in a Field”, “Bobbing For Apples”, and “Flying Like a Bat”.
Lollipop Tree-Grab one of these Lollipop Display Holders. Mark the bottoms of some of the lollipop sticks. When a kiddo picks one of those lollipops, give them an a extra treat in addition to their lollipop.
Mummy Wrap Race-Have the kids work in pairs to compete to wrap one team member in their pair completely in toilet paper.
