What Is Tailwind And Tailwind Tribes?
Tribes are a tool that can found within Tailwind, which is a Pinterest scheduling software/app. By using a Pinterest scheduler, you can plan out ahead of time the Pinterest pins that you want to feed onto your individual and group boards. The ability to do so enables batch scheduling your pins weeks ahead or time and keeping a steady stream of pins flowing. Check out a screen shot of the Scheduled Pins section of Tailwind below.
Tribes help you easily find good content by topic/interest area to share on Pinterest and allow you to get your content shared by others. Check out the screenshot below of a tribe.
How Can I Benefit From Tailwind Tribes Opening To The Public?
For the past year, Tailwind Tribes have been accessible by invitation only. Over that time, Tribes available have grown exponentially from one tribe to thousands covering a variety of niches. Now anyone can use Tribes for free. The free option gives you access to 5 Tribes and allows you to make 30 content submissions per month. If you wish to have access to more tribes and submission opportunities than that, you can PowerUp for about $5 a month.
Using Tribes is a great way to quickly:
- Find new content to share on Pinterest.
- Enable others to easily share and spread your content on Pinterest.
- To expand your Blogger network.
Along with the public roll out of Tribes, Tailwind has added a Find A Tribe search feature. Y’all that is a big, hairy, great addition! I had to hunt and peck around to find the best Tailwind Tribes to join. You can now search by keyword or category to find relevant Tribes. You can then preview the tribes and see bar rankings of how many active members are in each.
How Do I Make The Most Of This Tailwind Tribes Opportunity?
Ok. Just the straight skinny. If you want to try out Tailwind Tribes and make the most of the opportunity, I suggest that you try out Tailwind’s Pin Scheduler and other features at the same time. For bloggers and small businesses, I suggest a Free Trial of the Plus Plan.
You will be able to schedule and publish up to 100 Pinterest Pins before you need to decide if you want to pay for the Plus plan. During your trial, you’ll also have free access to a variety of Pinterest Reports such as Brand Profile Performance and Pin Inspect.
And the trial DOES NOT limit you to trying out things in some inordinately short time period. If you takes you 2 weeks or 7 months, no problem.
Let me show you with this video how the Pin Scheduler and Tailwind Tribes work hand-in-hand.
As, you can see Tailwind’s stable of tools really do mesh nicely. They are well worth checking out.
