(Updated 2023)
For many people, Easter is associated with fluffy bunnies, eggs, and the joyful squeals of kids as they discover what the Easter Bunny brought them in their Easter Baskets. All the light-hearted fun is a joyful way to celebrate the coming spring and summer.
But really, we must never forget that Easter is about so much more. Something truly astounding; the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He lay dead and entombed for days before he miraculously arose and breathed new life. And with his resurrection, he brought the message of eternal salvation and transformation. What a reason to celebrate indeed!
So when you get out the Easter baskets this year, why not fill them with some of these 24 Wonderful Things That are Designed to Focus Eyes, Hearts, and Minds on the real reasons for the Easter season. They are ordered from younger ages to older.

Hi I love these suggestions. The books look so cute for my grandkids. Hope you will share your post with us at Literacy Musing Mondays: http://maryanderingcreatively.com/scripture-stories/
Such fun books available for the kids with a great message.
First of all…my kids L-O-V-E the action bible! My 5 year old has read it straight through at least 10 times by now (I’m dead serious)! We have a Melissa and Doug puzzle like that with farm animals but I didn’t know they made a new testament version! I’m totally going to get it for them for Easter this year! Thank you for the great suggestions!
These are all really great ideas! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Share The Wealth Sunday!
