The Christmas holiday season is definitely a time filled with gatherings of family and friends.
To keep the crowd entertained and to get everyone into the holiday spirit, why not let your guests and family make handmade Christmas ornaments that will last for years to come. Here are 25 different homemade ornaments to chose from starting with my DIY Candy Cane Glitter Ornament.
Start with a porcelain or clay blank ornament from a hobby store. These ornaments come in all shapes and sizes. The blank canvas allows you and the family to customize however you like. The possibilities are endless. You can even let one person do one side and another the other for some neat variety.
In my case, I simply made some glue dots down the candy cane and sprinkled multi colored glitter over and gently shook off the excess.
The end product is a simple ornament that will catch the lights on the tree.
