We are late celebrating our Christmas because my husband, who works in the medical field, had to work on Christmas. He also shares custody of his daughter so she stayed with her mother this year. We had some last minute things to purchase for her room redo and we were able to score candy for the stockings for 75% off and bows for her new room items at 90% off.
Yes, some really great savings and selection still available on many things.
Hi Sarah! I’m stopping in from Let’s Get Real today. Your list is very helpful. Looks like I need to plan a shopping trip and cash in on some deals.
Definitely deals to be had. Have a great New Year’s.
I love post-Christmas shopping! Now, if only I could make the time to do more of it… 😉
Wouldn’t it be great if we could buy time.
Great list I think the wrapping paper and ornaments are what I am going to go after I can plan my tree for next year now. Stopping over from SITS
Yes, and you do not have to get in the crowds next year to get those decorations. Thanks so much for stopping by.
It’s funny because I went to both Walgreens and Walmart today and wasn’t in the mood to buy decorations at 50% off.
Maybe after the New Year they will be 75% off.
I’m stopping by from Let’s Get Real. I love lists like this. We really need a new tree (ours is 14 years old and falling apart) and are hoping to find a beautiful one at a great price this week!
Hope that you find a beautiful tree that will serve you well for years to come.
I ONLY shop for “Christmas” themed items after christmas (except perishables such as a candy)!
I got my Christmas tree 5 years ago for $25… It was originally $250! I LOVE getting deals like that 🙂
Have a happy new year!
Stopping by from SITs 🙂
That is quite the deal. So sweet to know that you saved that much when you look at your tree I am sure. Thanks much for stopping by.
I always buy my wrapping paper and bows after Christmas. I think I spent about $40 on stuff 7 years ago and haven’t needed to buy anything since!
And that is is what I call great savings!
I love after-Christmas sales, and am already planning my shopping trips! I even stock up on scotch tape, which is usually on sale with the wrapping paper. Nice to meet you through Motivation Monday!
You too! Sending Pinterest love your way.
