Whether filling out paper or online job applications, some critical pieces of information are generally requested on all applications. If you have all the intel that you need in one place, it will speed up the application process.
1. Current address and most recent past address and length of time residing at each.
2. Educational history including school name and address, dates attended, and whether degree/diploma was earned.
3. Employment history including current employer name and address , as well as, at least two previous employers’ information. Also, have on hand the name and contact information for supervisors, your position(s) title, dates of employment and salary. For past positions, be prepared to provide a reason for leaving.
4. Reference contact information for at least 3 people. Be sure and check with these folks before you list them as a reference because they very well may get called.
Keeping all this information in one easily accessed location will make filling out applications so much easier.
